Lakes. Like a boss.

Took the new inflatable out for a test fish. Perfect stealth machine for small lakes. Dragging buggers over weedbeds was the most productive method on the lake however it was pretty tough going. No huge fish but all were nice and fat and really stubborn fighters. Looking forward to a few more trips in it soon.

    Cool. can you give me some specs, (brand model price)on this boat please? as I'm always on look out for a bargain one.

      Hi Nick, the boat is an Intex Seahawk 4. Plenty of them on TradeMe and there is an optional motor mount kit which you can put a small electric motor on. Has been well worth the money so far, they normally go for around 250 bucks. Cheers.

    Cheers Cameron, that is indeed a great price for a boat which can even accept a motor mount kit! Can 2 ppl go in it at a pinch?

      Two people fit easy as mate. Boat is advertised as a four man boat (although you wouldn't want to have two 4 fishermen with fly lines going everywhere). I fish on it with a mate and we can fit ourselves and our gear and have heaps of room leftover to fish.
